These Terms govern Coach Portal accounts, team-stat submissions, rankings, recognition programs, removal requests, and participation in The Hit List Ring Program. By creating an account, submitting statistics, or using authenticated Coach Portal features, you agree to these Terms.
1. Coach Portal Account Required
Public team-stat submissions require an approved Coach Portal account unless The Hit List expressly provides another authorized method. Registration may require email verification and administrative approval. Creating an account does not automatically grant submission privileges.
2. Authorized Adult Accounts Only
Coach Portal accounts are intended for coaches, team administrators, and other authorized adult team representatives. Account holders must provide accurate information, use their own account, protect their credentials, and may not impersonate another person, team, or organization.
3. Team and Age-Division Authorization
An approved account may submit statistics only for the team and age division assigned to that account. Submissions that do not match the authorized team or division may be rejected. The account holder represents that they have authority to provide the team information.
4. Parent or Guardian Permission
Before submitting youth-player information, the account holder confirms that any permissions required from the team, organization, parents, or legal guardians have been obtained. If authority or permission is disputed, The Hit List may restrict, remove, or privately retain information while the matter is reviewed.
5. Original Statistics Requirement
Submissions must use the original accepted GameChanger CSV export unless another format is expressly approved. Users may not intentionally manipulate, fabricate, or misrepresent statistics, player identities, team information, or recognition eligibility.
6. Prohibited Information
Statistics files must not intentionally include youth-player personal email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses, school information, exact birthdates, Social Security numbers, medical information, financial information, passwords, authentication credentials, or other information unrelated to baseball-stat processing.
7. File Security and Validation
Every upload is treated as untrusted until validated. The Hit List may automatically inspect files for format, structure, prohibited information, suspicious spreadsheet formulas, malformed content, duplicate submissions, team/age mismatches, and other security or integrity concerns. Passing automated validation does not guarantee acceptance.
8. Permission to Process and Publish
By submitting authorized team statistics, the account holder grants The Hit List permission to process, calculate, organize, reformat, and display approved player names, team information, baseball statistics, rankings, and resulting recognition information for Barrel Boys of the Week, Monthly Top 50, the YTD Leaderboard, Hit List Score calculations, Ring Program tracking, website recognition, social-media recognition, and related program graphics.
9. Accuracy and Program Integrity
The account holder confirms that submitted statistics are accurate to the best of their knowledge and originate from the represented team. The Hit List may correct, combine, delay, reject, invalidate, or remove submissions that appear inaccurate, duplicated, manipulated, incomplete, unauthorized, fraudulent, or inconsistent with program rules.
10. Rankings and Recognition
Submission does not guarantee ranking, recognition, Ring Program points, or eligibility. Results are determined under the applicable Hit List Score formula, submission periods, eligibility requirements, visibility restrictions, and published program rules. Corrections, disqualifications, late submissions, or approved removal requests may change results.
11. Player Removal Requests
Authorized Coach Portal users may request visibility restrictions for eligible players associated with their authorized team submissions. Parents and legal guardians may independently request review, correction, or removal of their child’s public information. Requests may require administrative review and reasonable verification.
12. Effect of Removal
Approved restrictions may affect future Barrel Boys, Monthly Top 50, YTD Leaderboard, and Ring Program activity. Approval does not guarantee deletion of previously published graphics, screenshots, downloads, reposts, or third-party copies. Limited private records may be retained for security, audit history, dispute resolution, or program integrity.
13. Ring Program
Ring Program eligibility is determined under the published Ring Program rules. Private claim codes may be made available through authorized channels for qualifying players. Claim codes must not be publicly posted, transferred, or used for an ineligible player and may be invalidated if misused.
14. Account and Platform Security
Users may not share access with unauthorized individuals, bypass authentication, access another coach’s information, interfere with security controls, upload malicious content, probe or exploit the website, or attempt unauthorized administrative access. Suspected misuse may result in immediate suspension or termination.
15. Administrative Authority
The Hit List may approve, reject, suspend, or restore Coach Portal accounts; reject or correct submissions; review disputed information; apply visibility restrictions; remove content; and invalidate recognition or Ring Program activity obtained through inaccurate or unauthorized submissions.
16. Independent Platform
The Hit List is an independent youth travel baseball recognition platform. References to GameChanger describe the source or format of submitted statistics and do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or partnership unless expressly stated in writing.
17. Program Changes
The Hit List may modify submission periods, scoring procedures, eligibility requirements, recognition programs, account requirements, Ring Program procedures, security controls, and these Terms. Material changes will be reflected on the website.
