These terms govern statistics submitted to The Hit List and participation in our public leaderboards, recognition graphics, and Ring Program.
1. Authority to Submit
The submitter certifies that they are an authorized coach or team representative and are permitted to submit the team information included in the uploaded file.
2. Parental Permission
The submitter confirms that all necessary parental or legal-guardian permissions have been obtained before player names and baseball statistics are shared publicly through The Hit List.
3. Statistics-Only Files
Uploaded GameChanger CSV files must contain only player names, team details, age groups, and baseball statistics. Files must not contain personal email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses, school names, exact birthdates, or other sensitive personal information.
4. License to Use Submitted Content
The submitter grants The Hit List permission to use, organize, calculate, reformat, publish, and promote approved names, team details, and baseball statistics through website leaderboards, rankings, Barrel of the Week recognition, Top 50 graphics, Year-to-Date results, Ring Program tracking, social media, and marketing graphics.
5. Accuracy and Review
The submitter confirms that the statistics are accurate to the best of their knowledge. The Hit List may review, correct, combine, delay, reject, or remove submissions that are incomplete, duplicated, improperly formatted, manipulated, inaccurate, unauthorized, or inconsistent with program rules.
6. Rankings and Recognition
Rankings are calculated using the published Hit List Score formula and applicable program rules. Submission does not guarantee placement, recognition, Ring Program points, or continued placement after corrections or removal requests.
7. Parent and Guardian Rights
A verified parent or legal guardian may request removal or anonymization of a player's public information at any time. Approved restrictions may remove a player from the YTD Leaderboard, Top 50 graphics, Barrel of the Week recognition, or other public content. Removal may affect historical placement, future eligibility, and accumulated Ring Program points.
8. Independent Platform
The Hit List is an independent platform and is not officially affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with GameChanger unless a future written partnership states otherwise.
9. Program Changes
The Hit List may update submission deadlines, recognition periods, eligibility standards, administrative procedures, and these terms. Material changes will be posted on the website.
