More Than A Ranking
The Hit List is an Alabama youth travel baseball recognition platform created to celebrate players who consistently make an impact at the plate. Coaches submit official GameChanger statistics, each player is measured using the same published Hit List Score, and qualifying players can earn weekly, monthly, and year-to-date recognition.
Our goal is to give young athletes a professional, exciting moment they can be proud of while keeping the scoring process fair, understandable, and based on real game results.
Why We Created It
Many strong performances are seen only by the people at the field. The Hit List gives teams and families another way to celebrate the work players put in throughout the season.
Recognition is not based on popularity, social-media votes, or purchases. It is based on submitted statistics and the same HLS formula for every participating player.

What We Do
Monthly Top 50
Monthly rankings compare participating players by age division using HLS.
YTD Leaderboard
The year-to-date leaderboard combines qualifying results from January through the selected month to show season-long performance.
Ring Program
Players earn points through weekly and monthly recognition and become eligible for the Official Barrel of the Week Ring after reaching the required point total.
Fairness & Transparency
The Hit List Score rewards singles, extra-base hits, walks, hit-by-pitches, and stolen bases, then divides the total by plate appearances. This measures production per opportunity instead of simply rewarding the player with the most chances.
